Professor Celeste is a trained interdisciplinary scholar, who teaches across three disciplines: Communication and Media Studies, Women’s and Gender Studies, and Africana/African American/Black Studies. She has taught at the University of Florida, the University of Nevada Las Vegas, the University of South Florida, and University of Washington in all three disciplines. She describes her teaching style as student-centered, experiential, and based on critical and Black Feminist pedagogy.
